He was buried in Carterville Cemetery. Thanks.

Jessie son Jim did he have a middle name / initial? If James W died before 1930 then I would think that Jessie P would have married again and the Jessie P I found, although interesting, may not be your Jessie P. Since we are not sure of the death date and location then maybe he did in CA! You may want to search LA Co. CA message board for Ramsey.

Thanks; now I can search for her obituary. I never found James W. Ramsey after the 1910 census; my mother in law said Aunt Jess and son Jim visited them in Denver in the early 1930's; she didn't recall where Jess and son lived at the time and doesn't think "Uncle Jim" was there for the visit, very possibly he had died by then. So I do not know if James W. Ramsey died in Missouri or where. Thanks for you help and ideas.

Ramsey b.1884, if there is one. After his death, unknown date, his widow and son "went out to California". Only my mother-in-law remembers there was an Uncle Jim and Aunt Jess Ramsey. Our Ramseys seem to have had a very HIGH percentage of deaths from kidney disease, male and female. Plus the added problem of the generation of siblings being very spread out in age and location, not communicating with each other. I love a good challenge, don't you? Thanks for the possible matches; I'll look them up.
