Dell HARBERT, a 16-year old boy, who is employed in the tinning department at the Armour Packing company, was stuck by a freight car, which had been "shunted" at Nineteenth and Liberty streets, at 6:30 yesterday evening. He was knocked to one side, receiving a fracture of the right clavicle near the shoulder and an ugly gash on the forehead. He was attended by Police Surgeon LANDON, and removed to the City hospital. He was resting easy at a late hour last night, and it is thought he will recover in a few days. He resides with his parents at 1833 Terrace street. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ====================================================== neirbo10 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
