A premature explosion of dynamite at a rock quarry at Fortieth Street and Kenwood Avenue this morning injured John BROSNAHAN, a quarryman, so severely he died an hour later. BROSNAHAN was tamping a charge of dynamite slightly apart from the other quarryman. When fellow workmen reached him he lay on the ground. The tamping bar had lacerated his throat. He was taken to the general hospital in a police ambulance. BROSNAHAN's home was at Thirty-ninth Street and Highland Avenue. He leaves a widow and two children. A brother, Cornelius BROSNAHAN, lives at Fifty-first and Main streets. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ====================================================== neirbo10 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
