A collision with a street car at the crossing of Twelfth and Main streets at 7:15 o'clock this morning threw A. W. MITCHELL, a motor cycle policeman, to the pavement, bruised him painfully and sprained his left knee. He was taken in an ambulance to the emergency hospital, where his injuries were treated. He was taken then to his home, 2207 Holmes Street. MITCHELL said the street car had stopped suddenly at the crossing and he was unable to swerve his machine in time to avoid a collision.
