RAGLAND, 96 years old, died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. F. H. HANSON, 3212 Thompson Avenue. Her death occurred while she was walking to the table to eat breakfast with the family. Mrs. RAGLAND was born in Woodford County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Gabriel SMITH, a farmer. When she was 16 years old she married Thomas S. RAGLAND, the son of a wealthy slave owner. They lived in Woodford County, Kentucky, until 1854, when they drove in a carriage to Lexington, Mo. Her husband died in 1871. The last of her five children died eleven years ago. Twelve years ago she came here to live with her granddaughter, Mrs. HANSON.
