    2. Cathy, The only date I know for sure is 1900.? He is the 1900 census at the "Insane Asylum for the Feeble-Minded" in Nevada at that time.? Horrible name, isn't it?? Anyway, I also saw his name in the Morgan County (where he was born and married)?newspapers where the probate tranactions were printed.? The newspapers listed what the county paid for him to be a patient at the hospital.? I saw this kind of information a few times after 1900 and then nothing.? He was not listed Missouri census ?in 1910.? Family stories say he died there and I did find his name as one who is in the cemetery. His wife (my great-grandmother) was Matilda (?) Minerva Findley Smith.? His children were Addie (my grandmother, Patsy, Millton, Dave, and one other daughter whose name escapes me at the moment. Thanks for any help you can give me.? I appreciate it very much. 3. ok the name of that cemetery is Newton Burial Ground. My daughter is going to see if she can find the headstone for you. If we find it I will send you a pic. I will also start looking to see if I can find records regarding his hospitalization. That might not be easy due to confidentiality. But I will attempt it. By the way Im not sure the whole group is interested in this so if you want to email me you can [email protected] [email protected] wrote: Cathy, The only date I know for sure is 1900.?
