Mrs. Catherine J. SEELEY has filed a motion for a new trial of the divorce case in which her husband was granted a decree. The motion is merely a formal proceeding, as an appeal has already been taken in the case to the court of appeals. In the affidavit, filed by Mrs. STEELEY in support of her motion, she states that she cannot support of herself and her two children with the allowance made by Judge HENRY and ask for greater alimony. The account of Miss Ida SEELEY's abduction by her mother, after her convalescence, was published in "The Star." Mr. SEELEY states that he will support his daughter Ida if she will live with him.
