The United States circuit court finished yesterday the case of WILCOX against the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific railway. The jury, after being out about two hours, rendered a verdict in favor of the defendant. The suit was for $5,000 damages and was brought by the widow of M. J. WILCOX, who was killed on a construction train in July, 1888. The case of Lucy Jones, whose husband was fireman on the same train and was killed at the same time, was decided in favor of the defendant several days ago.
