Judge J. A. PREWITT left last night for a visit to his old home in Kentucky. Miss Natalie STONEROAD of Las Vegas, N.M., and Miss CHAMBERS of Lexington have returned after a visit to the Misses DICKSON. ANDERSON of the Presbyterian college left yesterday for her home in Vermont, and will stop at the World's fair on route. Dr. and Mrs. J. S. MOTT were in Topeka Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. J. M. McFARLAND and not of the father of Dr. MOTT as stated yesterday. Mrs. McFARLAND was a sister of Mrs. MOTT. Colonel L. P. MUIR has been quite sick for several days but was reported as improving yesterday. Miss May MOSELEY of Kentucky left for her home yesterday after a visit to Mrs. H. P. HERSPERGER. Miss Rowena SMITH has returned from Fulton, Mo., where she attended college. Mrs. Thomas SPOHR of Boonville is the guest of Mrs. M. TUCKER. Miss Mattie TROUMAN and Mrs. A. M. WRIGHT, who have been the guests of J. T. NOLAND and family, left for Chicago yesterday. Miss Mattie GARTH of Clinton is the guest of Mrs. W. N. SOUTHERN, Jr. Miss Lucy GILKEY of Fulton is the guest of Mrs. C. L. MINOR. Mrs. W. T.
