I have a Mrs. Mary Burwell marrying a Joe Smith on March 1 1911 in Linn Tennessee. There is also a Mary J Burwell living on the 1930 census in Mercer Penn born 1851 Penn Widow, and Ethel Fox next to her and an Eva S Robinson. There are 2 marriages for Floyd Burwell the last one in 1928 Jackson Co Mo. There is a SS death notice for a Floyd Burwell in White Plains NY. My guess is that Mary J went back to Kansas and got married again and has another surname at death. If you get your request for a tomb stone picture on Winnie Marie you will have the death date and then can email Mid Continenet for an obit which should give the name of her Mother at the time of death.
