I also discovered my grandfather's address for his marriage license in KC was 617 Independence Ave. I always heard my grandmother, father and mother (she was not Italian) talk about the North End. Do you know what the boundaries of the North End were? My grandparent moved to 4421 E 6 Street by the 1930 census. That seems away from the North End, it seems to me. Is that correct?
