The old city market was at 3rd and Main- not over as far as Cherry. There aren't many of us older citizens who were alive in 1900 and can use the computer so I think your out of luck there. Unless you were Italian, or had business at the City Market or the City Hall, most "other citizens" stayed out of the North End unless you went with your Italian friends.
