BAHLMANN BADLY HURT. Prof. William F. BAHLMANN, superintendent of the Independence public schools, met with quite a serious accident Sunday afternoon. He led his horse to water and the animal jerked the strap from Prof. BAHLMANN's hand. He stooped to pick up the strap, when the horse whirled suddenly and kicked him in the head. The iron shoe struck full against Prof. BAHLMANN's forehead, and the outer table of the skull was broken. The wound is not considered fatal, and Prof. BAHLMANN is resting easily to-day. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ====================================================== neirbo10 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
