The name appears to be TREFZ. I found August in the 1920 and 1930 census of Mo. with his wife and family. He is also in the 1900 census with his father George and mother "Carry" where he is listed as "Gussie". I was not so lucky with the 1910 census where he should have been reported with his wife of about 2 years. Also, in the 1930 census, his "mother" Martha Harriman,widow, is living with them.
