Fern, I just searched about a dozen marriages that were listed on the marriage microfilm index. Only two were found!! Either the marriage web site doesn't have all the marriage applications/licenses or the microfilm index has applications/licenses that never took place, which I don't think is likely. I'll check the index for your marriages (Mura, Elizabeth and Frances Cockrill). About when were they married? (1800s, 1920s, 1930s??) John, I don't know their exact birth dates, I'm just going by various US Census'. Mura Cockrill was born in 1898 - Elizabeth Cockrill was born in 1903 and Frances was probably an OOPs because she came in 1912. In the 1930 Census she is 18 years old and the only daughter left at home. Her Mom and Dad are 59 and 56. So using 20 as the normal marriage age Mura would marry about 1918 and Elizabeth would marry about 1923 and Frances about 1932. The family of 4 were in the 1910 census but are missing in the 1920 census. I have been searching off and on for these girls for over a year and have always come up empty handed. Although I have not found any death dates for the father Frank M. and the mother Elizabeth I am pretty sure they stayed in Missouri until their deaths. Any help at all would really be appreciated.
