You know this man's son! "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Tuesday, November 3, 1914 John A. TRUMAN died yesterday at his home at Grandview. He was born sixty-four years ago in Platte County, Missouri, and had lived in Jackson County sixty years. For several years he had served as overseer of Road District No. 30, in the vicinity of Grandview, under appointment by the county court. About two weeks ago Mr. TRUMAN underwent an operation at the Swedish Hospital in this city and a week ago he was taken to his home. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mattie TRUMAN; by two sons, Harry and Vivian TRUMAN; a daughter, Mary Jane TRUMAN; by two sisters, Mrs. Joseph T. NOLAND of Independence and Mrs. Rochester COLGAN of Fairland Heights, and a brother, William TRUMAN of Texas.
