Hey John, Boy, if we would have more Harry Trumans these day, I think we would be in alot better shape. I went through the Truman house, right after they opened it after Bess died. There was a young park department ranger giving the tour. You could tell he was a big Truman fan, even though he was way too young to even remember him. When we got to the library, he told the story of when the Trumans returned to Independence. President Truman, found a pencil. He went right away and sent it back to the White House, and apologized for the taking by mistake!! I think today when they leave, they see how much they can take with them!
