Blue Township is bounded roughly by 24 Highway on the north (in Independence) to 59th St. on the south (Raytown) and from the west side of the Little Blue River (looking at the northern part of the township because the river runs somewhat northeasterly; this is in Kansas City) to 1/4 mile east of Lee's Summit Rd. (also in Independence). Most of this is Independence now but not all. I just took a quick look at a topographic map to get the boundaries. If you don't know the area my description may not help you much. I'll be glad to help to pin down anything closer if I can; I don't live in Jackson Co. now so I would have to be able to look it up on a map or that it might be something I'd know from having lived there most of my life.
