Misty, I have a KC area Yellow Pages from 2000 (I moved out of the KC area a couple of years ago but have the book) which lists Johnson County Funeral Chapel-Mausoleum & Cemetery at 11200 Metcalf Ave., phone 913-451-1860. This looks like the right place in spite of the difference in name; nothing else comes close. Metcalf is Highway 69, and this is in Johnson Co. KS, not MO, which I would expect from the other locations in the obit -- Roeland Park, Overland Park, Shawnee Mission, and Shawnee; Raytown is on the Missouri side. The funeral home is listed as Newcomer's DW Sons Funeral Homes Missouri General Office 1331 Brush Creek Blvd -------------- 816-561-0024 Newcomer's has a number of locations all over the metro area on both sides of the state line.
