I am in the process of trying to find Charles parents. I show that Charles was born in Ohio in 1835 or 1836. My father told me that Charles was an orphan. The earliest record I find on him is an 1850 census in Kentucky (Boone County). He is 15 years old and living with the Hood family as a laborer. I can not find anything on him in Ohio.
