EWELL, 49 years old, died yesterday at Merriam, Kas., of Bright's disease. He formerly resided in this city. The funeral will take place from his home in Merriam at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Rosa WALLACE, 73 years old, widow of the late Robert W. WALLACE, died yesterday at the residence of her son, 405 Independence avenue, of old age. The funeral will take place from the residence at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning. Interment will be in Mount St. Mary's cemetery. Frederick ENGLISH, aged 42 years, died Sunday in El Paso, Tex., of consumption. He was proprietor of a saloon at Fourteenth and Main streets. The body reached Kansas City yesterday from El Paso and was taken charge of by Eyler Bros., undertakers. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery. Mrs. Ella E. DIAMOND, 25 years old, died yesterday at her residence, 823 Independence avenue, of paralysis. Her maiden name was Ella E. GILCHRIST and she resided in Kansas City all her life. No funeral arrangements have been made. Ida M. THOMPSON, wife of Wells THOMPSON, of the J. Case Thresher Company, died at 8 o'clock last night at her residence, 1659 West Prospect street, of peritonitis after a short illness.
