"The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Thursday, December 11, 1904 Daniel MARTIN, 560 Harrison street, told the surgeon at police headquarters at 1 o'clock this morning that he had attended a dance near Independence avenue and Harrison street. MARTIN did not remember leaving the dance but the surgeon sewed up a scalp wound for him and treated a sprained wrist. MARTIN said he believed someone threw him out of the hall by way of a window.
