"The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Tuesday, April 18, 1899 DR. T. P. HALEY RECOVERING. Rev. Dr. T. P. HALEY, pastor of the Springfield Avenue Christian church, is recovering from injuries received in an accident on a Troost avenue cable car. Dr. HALEY was getting off at Twenty-sixth street and while in the act of stepping down the car started, throwing him around behind it. His head struck the track, rendering him unconscious. Dr. LEONARD, who was passing at the time, assisted him to his home and attended him.
