"The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Tuesday, April 18, 1899 HIS SKULL FRACTURED. W. D. BUCK, a carpenter living at 4126 Woodland avenue, was employed in shingling a roof of a house at 2908 Prospect avenue, yesterday afternoon, when he lost his balance and fell to the ground, a distance of twenty-five feet. He struck a pile of rock headforemost and sustained a fracture of the skull. He was also bruised about the head and shoulders and is believed to have sustained internal injuries. Dr. MANAHAN attended him and sent him to the city hospital.
