    3. "The Kansas City Post" (Missouri) Friday, November 4, 1910 SCHOOL BOY HIT BY A BRICK WILL RECOVER. Paul BROWN, 14 years old, a student at the Longfellow school in Kansas City, Kas., was struck over the right eye with a brick yesterday afternoon while watching some of his playmates engage in a mimic battle. He fell to the ground unconscious. At the Bethany hospital, where he was taken for medical attention, a piece of the skull bone an inch square was removed. It was said at the hospital this morning that the boy's condition is greatly improved and it is now believed no serious complications will result. He is the son of William J. BROWN, an insurance agent, of 317 Greeley avenue. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
