Would you please let me know where, and how, you found JACKSON COUNTY PIONEERS by Pearl Wilcox. I have some ancestors who lived in Jackson County, Missouri, before the Civil War, and they might be listed there. If you have this book, would you look to see if LARKIN MADDOX is listed. Larkin MADDOX is not listed in either of Pearl Wilcox books that I have. He is listed in the "HISTORY OF JACKSON COUNTY MISSOURI by W. Z. HICKMAN 1920. page 743 Sketch of William A. MADDOX, a native of Kentucky and a daughter of Larkin and Eveline (BELCHER) MADDOX, early settlers in Jackson County and both now deceased. To Mr. and Mrs . SMITH have been born one son, Jesse L., who is now operating his father's farm. He was educated in the public schools and Wentworth Military School.
