Hello, I am new to this list and am so hoping someone will be able to help me locate my grandmother, Louise MATCHETTA. I know so very little about her. I only found her two times on the census and both times it was a different marriage. On both census, she said she was born in MO. and her parents came from France. I can't find a thing. I know no names or places. I was always told growing up that her family came from France. Going by the census, she was born about 1888-1889 in MO. The 1910 census has her married four years. Her husband was Harry Levey age 27 born Ohio, their son Richard Levey age 2 months born in Kansas City, Jackson Co. MO WD7, Louise age 21and Great Aunt Sarah Whelan age 88. I don't know where any of these people went. I do know Sarah was b. in Nova Scotia, died 6/18/1911 in ?? maybe Mo. She was living with them. I only think I found Harry on the 1920 DallasCo,TX census married to a Lottie born in CO. I never ever found Richard (my Dad) again on any census. Then I found Louise on the 1930 census in Dallas, CO. TX remarried to Jessie M. Cardwell. I have no idea who her parents were, where they went or for sure what area they lived. I don't know where Louise and Harry married. I do know my father was a strict Catholic, so I would think he was baptized Catholic and I know where he is buried. I don't have any idea where Great Aunt Sarah fits in at all or where she is buried. Would someone be able to help me? I have been trying for four years to find this family. I looked in the 1900 MO census, hoping I could find Louise but no luck. I tried Kansas and Nebr. no luck. My father had no birth cert and his mid wife was Mrs. Bowers from 526 Jackson Ave. Kansas City, MO. Jackson Co. WD7. My grandparents lived 500 Park Ave. Chelsea Park. I found that information on a paper my grandmother wrote. I know some lineage on Sarah but don't know where she fits in. I know Louise must had went to school and I thought she may have stayed in the same county she grew up. Thank You for ALL your time and help. Millie- state of Delaware
