"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, February 17, 1913 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. Valentine VEITH, 73 years old, a pioneer of Wyandotte County, died Saturday at his home, 514 Barnett Avenue, Kansas side. Mr. VEITH was born in Germany in 1860. He came to Kansas City in 1872 and since that time has lived on the Kansas side. He was employed by the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company for forty years. He is survived by three sons, Jacob, Albert and Frank VEITH, and three daughters, Mrs. J. F. SNYDER of St. Louis, Mrs. J. H. WALTERS of Kansas City, Kas., and Mary VEITH. Funeral services will be at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Seventh Street and Barnett Avenue, at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
