I went to the Geneology Library in Indep, MO and was able to locate the obituary of my great-uncle's wife. I have two questions: Can someone tell me where Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery is located? Secondly, does anyone recognzie the names in this obituary its from 6-21-1981: Mrs. Rosemary Elwood, 59, of 5441 Briar, Roeland Park, died Sunday at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born in Leavenworth County, KS, and had lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Elwood was a Catholic. She leaves her husband THOMAS E. ELWOOD of the home; three sons, EDWARD J. ELWOOD, Raytown, THOMAS H. ELWOOD of the home, DONALD LEE ELWOOD, Shawnee; a daughter Mrs. CONNIE JEAN NUTT, Overland Park, a brother, JAMES THOMPSON and a sister, LEONA LUCAS, both of Shawnee; and 12 grandchildren. Burial will be at the Newcomer OVerland Park Chapel; burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
