Mrs. Mary Ann CARTER, 78 years old, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilber CARTER, 2607 Chestnut avenue. Mrs. CARTER was born in Ohio and came to Kansas City thirty-five years ago. Besides Mrs. Wilber CARTER, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Naomi LANDIS of the home address, and four sons, Benjamin F. CARTER and Edwin CARTER, Vinita, Ok.; A. L. CARTER, Memphis, Tenn., and Bruce S. CARTER, New York City. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow in Mrs. C. L. Forster's chapel.
