"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Thursday, December 25, 1913 REFUSED A DRINK -- BANG! BANG! Bobbie PATTERSON, who lives at Tenth Street and Troost Avenue, went taxicab riding last night. He arrived at a saloon near his home and went inside for a drink. While there he saw the manager of the taxicab company and invited him to "have something." The manager refused, whereupon Bobby pulled out a pistol and began shooting. Lewis W. ATKINS, the chauffeur, and several policeman who were called to the place took French leave, and Bobby was allowed to go home. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
