Hi My name is Jean-Marie Aubert, I am a native of France and live in the city of Marseilles in the South-East of France. I have been researching my family's ancestry, and would specifically like to find out more about my grandfather's brother, Auguste Aubert. August was born in Marseilles in 1884. He emigrated to the US in 1903 and was naturalized in 1906. In 1920 he was a cook at the Main Street Hotel in Kansas City. (Fourteenth census of US 1920 population (Line 63) August worked in the years 1920 / 1930 in a French restaurant in Kansas City. A French politician came in visit to Kansas City at that time and ate in the restaurant where August worked. August wrote this in a letter addressed to my grandfather. I would like to get in contact with his descendants and exchange any type of information on our possibly common ancestors.
