    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, May 22, 1916 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. The Rev. David B. WHIMSTER, 73 years old, a Presbyterian minister for forty-five years, died yesterday at his home, 1022 North Third Street, Kansas side. He was born in Kingston, Ontario, April 20, 1843. He organized St. Giles Presbyterian Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was one of the founders of Manitoba College in that city. He came to the United States in 1888 and held pastorates in Hays City, Kas.; Anthony, Kas., and West Plains, Mo., and St. Joseph, Mo. He is survived by his wife, a son, Dr. W. C. WHIMSTER, and one daughter, Miss Jessie WHIMSTER, of the Kansas side.
