I was wondering if anyone can help me fine a death notice in the newspaper or from funeral homes. I don't know were to look. I have found some things on my half brother that died in Jackson County. His name was Robert L. Clark born June 3, 1939, and died Nov. 26, 1962. What I understand is that he was born in Independence were his mother Inez Stone and his father Harold Clark lived at the time. His parents were married in Aug. 19, 1938. I don't know anything about his mother. I do know that Inez mother first name was Bertha. I can't tell much from the marriage license. Bertha had a different name at the time that Inez married Harold. Any information would be helpful Debbie.
Looks like "Mrs. Bertha Rogers" on the marriage certificate.
