Hamrick a Building Contractor Suffered Sever Injuries Yesterday (News Article) Date: 1912-10-04; Paper: The Kansas City Star (page 3) J.D Hamrick, a building contractor, was struck by a motor car driven by a negro at Fourteenth Street and For___ Avenue yesterday afternoon. The negro was unidentified. Hamrick suffered a fractured shoulder blade and two ___.(ribs?) He was taken to his home at Thirteenth Street and Wabash Avenue, unconscious. He is slightly improved today. Mr. Hamrick was riding in a buggy with his son, Edward at the time of the accident. The son was bruised and the buggy is a wreck.
