He married Mahatable (sp?) Gilm/Gwillym in Butler Co Ohio and moved to Carroll Co Mo after 1836. Jacob was the son of Martin Funk and Elizabeth Studebaker. Jacob's son, also Jacob, married Nannie (last name unknown)who later lived in Los Angeles. Don't know if this helps.
