Kerry, Ireland @ the age of 80 in April, 1909 in the company of her son John Berry who was about 40 years of age. Their destination was Anna's dau Anna Theresa Moran (Mr. Daniel J. Moran) residing @ 2209 Troost. Her exact age is uncertain but she is thought to be born between 1821 and 1830. According to the passenger manifest, Anna Barry/Berry had cataracts and poor dentition. Ann died in Kansas City in 1915 in the home of dau Anna Moran and is buried at Mt. Washington Forever in Independence. But where is she in 1910?? She is not with dau Anna and Daniel Moran's (spelled "Maran" in the census) family in Kansas City nor can I find her anywhere! I've tried every sort criteria I can think of. Son John is not found either -- I always assumed he went back to Ireland but have no idea if that is correct. I think dau Anna was the only child that came to the U.S. but I am not absolutely certain of that. Unless, Granny Anna was locked in the attic when the census taker came in 1910 -- I have no clue where she might be. If she was briefly hospitalized would she have been counted??? Would there have been any reason for the family to NOT enumerator her?? Any ideas/inspiration very welcome! K Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
