    3. Yes 1861 death, Civil war Meanness in area for one, Lee, the area you write about is a flood plain and river town. I am guessing that word is farmer or fisher. Do you live where you can go to Independence branch MCPL-Genea? They have a collection of plat and directories that might pinpoint your families. In 1877 there was a concentration of county land atlases with biographic(vanitypress) data. I have used them at various times to locate what was once in an area. Bud.

    2. Thanks Bud, but do not think it is farmer.? John Kelly's brother in law, Daniel Cusenbary, killed in 1863 by Union soldier.? I grew up in Leeds where son John Harrison Kelly farmed and have seen the Blue flood as a boy in the 40's.? I recently joined the Mid Continent Library, Jackson county Historical Society and the Missouri Historical Society.? Someone, somewhere must know or have info I look for.? Now live in Cameron so must plan my trips to city.? We keep digging.? thanks, Bob/Lee -----Original Message----- From: samuels <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 4 Dec 2007 5:02 pm Subject: Re: [MOJACKSO] Census Occupation - Land Plats Yes 1861 death, Civil war Meanness in area for one, Lee, the area you write about is a flood plain and river town.
