I wondered if there wass a legal reason she wasn't reported. I doubt that she was naturalized -- @ 80-90 years old it seems doubtful. But will check this. Yes, I would be interested the 1915 Directory listing -- this would have been just before she died -- maybe even published after her death. She was a widow before coming to the U.S. -- probably for a long time considering the mortaility rates at the time -- so finding her a widow of "John" is intresting and goes toward a theory. Her husband may have gone by "Jack", a common nickname for "John" (ala John/Jack Kennedy(.
