(Kansas City, MO & KS) The body of Minnie HARDER, who died here yesterday, was sent to Yates Center, Kas., for burial to-day. The body of Robert H. WILSON, who died here yesterday, will be sent to Pomona, Kas., for burial to-morrow. The McDonald W. C. T. U. will meet at the home of Mrs. Richard PALMER, 5210 St. John avenue, at 2:30 o'clock to-morrow. A marriage license was issued in Independence this morning to Henry GEHLKEN, 23 years old, and Myrtle May LARGE, 17 years old, both of that city. Funeral services for Rosie DOEN, who died yesterday, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Wagner's chapel. Burial was in Forest Hill cemetery. E. E. PHELPS, 56 years old, died last night at his home, 1331 Grand avenue. He sold papers at Eleventh and Walnut streets. One son is living in Oklahoma. A divorce suit was brought this morning in the Wyandotte county district court by Orin MONROE against L. E. MONROE, and one by Della WALLACE from George W. WALLACE. Suit for divorce was brought in Independence this morning by M. M. against Elizabeth COULTER. They were married in Buchanan county, Missouri, in 1896 and lived together until last month. The Taft and Sherman club will meet at 1228 Grand avenue to-night. Ex-Mayor Henry M. BEARDSLEY is to speak. The club will discuss also the new primary law and the proposed new city charter. Carl RIEGER, who fell from a street car in Kansas City, Kas., Saturday, is to-day in a dangerous condition from concussion of the brain at the home of his son-in-law, William SCHMITZ, 519 Minnesota avenue. Funeral services for Mrs. Annie SAMUELS, who died Saturday in Hillsboro, Ill., will be at the home, 603 Central avenue, Kansas City, Kas., at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. "Socialism From a Religious Standpoint" will be the subject of a debate to-morrow night in the hall at the Reorganized Latter Day Saints' church in Independence. Fred KOEHLER will champion the side of Socialism. The other side will be led by I. N. WHITE, Jr. The government is looking for someone who will erect a building in Argentine that could be used by the postoffice. Six months ago a contractor agreed to erect a building, but after the contracts had been signed he failed to carry out his part of the agreement.
