    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, July 3, 1922 POLLY WENT A VISITIN'. Believing that there was much more to be seen in the world than what she could see from her perch at home, Isabell, a parrot belonging to Mrs. C. F. PEASE, 3001 Roosevelt avenue, Kansas City, Kas., decided last Tuesday to take an extended trip. Mrs. PEASE immediately began a search for the bird, which for two years had been contented to remain at home. Yesterday morning Mrs. Fred SORTER, who lives one-half mile west of the Quindaro car line, heard a voice in a tree near her home. Upon investigation she found a parrot entertaining a group of birds that had made friends with this new member of their tribe. Being almost starved, the bird was caught easily. Isabell now sits quietly on her perch, a wiser bird and contented to remain at home. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
