    3. "The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Tuesday, August 29, 1911 DRIVER LEFT AN INJURED BABY. Mary MACOSA, 15-month-old daughter of Joseph MACOSA of 539 Charlotte Street, rolled off the curbing in front of her home, where she had been playing, and fell in the street, at 10 o'clock this morning. As she did so a wagon struck her. The driver, it is said, then struck his horse with a whip and drove away, but Mabel BRADLEY of 801 Pacific Street, a witness to the accident, recognized him. The police are looking for him. The little girl's head was bruised and her right ear almost torn off where the wheels of the wagon had passed over her. She was taken to the office of Dr. Benedetto Tripi RAO, 707 East Fifth Street, given emergency treatment and sent home. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
