    3. "The Kansas City Journal" (Missouri) Tuesday, October 19, 1897 Roy P. CASEY of 513 Troost Avenue, was thrown from his pony at Third street and Grand avenue yesterday morning by the pony's shoes slipping on the cable car tracks. His right ankle was badly sprained, necessitating the attention of Police Surgeon LANDON.
