    1. Catholic School in Kansas City
    2. Does anyone know the name of a Catholic Girls School that was in Kansas City in the 1940's and 1950's? As I recall it was referred to as a parochial school and offered elementary or grade school level classes. It also seems to me that the name started with a 'K' but that could be faulty memory. Hope someone remembers and can help. Thanks, RRN

    3. My I suggest that whoever is kind enough to seek Eldon's request.... Take your digital camera along and take a half dozen different images to send Eldon. Take time exposures, flash, close and inside the frame etc. Surely one of the images will meet his expectations. This will be a great service for a fellow genealogist..... and thanks in advance ! ! ! ----- Original Message ----- From: <Sunrise1939@aol.com> To: <MOJACKSO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, July 30, 2004 5:03 PM Subject: [MOJACKSO] Gen Samuel Davis Lucas > The next time a kind soul is in Independence,Mo. 1. Children Sent To America Before The Mayflower
    2. First Families
    3. Hello Jackson County Researchers: We have posted a list of early VA immigrants that should be of help to those of you who may be having problems with establishing your early lines there. This concerns the Children Ordered Sent to Virginia 1618-1642 and contains a listing of 468 children, including 337 before the Mayflower landed in 1620! We have also included information on the reason for these relocations here so you can better understand why this practice happened during that time period. This would represent many thousands of lines and could be a reason why you may be having problems with your early people there. You will find the list located on the web site at; http://www.linkline.com/personal/xymox/ Once you get there you will be looking for the link Family Pages Index which you will enter. On the Family Index Page enter CHILDREN SENT TO VA 1618-1642. For those of you who are AOL members you may have trouble connecting to many pages that may come up with a message such as "Page Does Not Exist" and you can cure that by using your browser feature of Copy and Paste the URL to your browser and then enter from there. All pages contained within our web pages are free for viewing and study by all interested researchers. Enjoy Harold Oliver Director America's First Families

    2. Since you have a death date, you may request a death certificate from the State of Missouri. They have a web site and forms to download. The cost is $10.00. http://www.state.mo.us/ Jackie
