"The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Saturday, March 6, 1915 PINCH FOR EACH PICTURE KISS. Mrs. Josephine GUSTIN, 2121 Grand Avenue, went into the Tenth Street moving picture theater last week and seated herself just as a love scene was flashed upon the screen. Just as the hero kissed the heroine, Mrs. GUSTIN felt some- one pinch her arm. Two more kisses and two more pinches followed in rapid succession. The third pinch was enough. Mrs. GUSTIN told in police court this morning how she followed a man who had been sitting beside her in the theater, out into the street. There she had him arrested. The man denied any guilt to Judge J. M. KENNEDY this morning. He had several responsible business men in court to testify that he was not given to excessive pinching and Judge KENNEDY discharged him. Mrs. GUSTIN asked Floyd JACOBS, prosecuting attorney, for a warrant. The prosecutor arranged for a hearing in his office Monday, at which time he will decide whether to prosecute. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
