This soldier was shot during a battle at Chickasaw Mountain. I would very much like to find his grave so he can be remembered. I also do not see him listed in any of the nearby counties as having served from a particular county, yet we do have his pension papers. The pension papers give two death dates, on is May 18, 1900 and the other is May 18, 1901. If anyone can help do a bit of searching in the Iron County area on this man his family would appreciate it so much.
