As a young boy Luther moved to California with his parents where he was Schooled as a Teacher, He was a teacher for the Bureau of Education, in 1900 he was at an Indian School in Oregon,(where he met my GGGrandmother Josephine LaBonte) he then went to the Philippines 1901 as a teacher (Thomasite) then became a Superintendent, in the late 1910's to the 1920's I believe he married a Maud Neal and then moved back to California in the Santa Cruz area where he lived out his retirement. While in the Philippines Luther Parker was an amateur Archaeologist and Poet. I have hit a snag, while most research says his mother in Mary Ellen Reese; his death certificate says her maiden name is Wilson. Can anyone help??
