JANA as all of you know was born October 14, 2006, in Sacramento, with the left side of her heart not developed. She under went her first surgery shortly after birth in October. We were told at that time that JANA was facing two more open heart surgeries. One at about 3 - 3 1/2 months of age (which is the one that will take place tomorrow morning), and the third when she reaches about 35 to 40 pounds in weight. This next one will take place tomorrow morning, Monday, February 5th, at 8:00am. Jana and her parents had to go to San Jose, to Lucille Parker Children's Hospital, which is a division of Stanford University, on last Wednesday, January 31st, and they placed a catheter in her groin, so that they could ex-ray her tiny heart. She was sent back home on Thursday, and told to return at 4:30am, Monday February 5th, for her second open heart surgery. JANA has done exceptionally well, since her first surgery, and we all know that it is due to God keeping her in his hands, and due to all of the prayers that went out for her and her family. We need those again at this time. I will keep everyone in touch. Please keep Grandpa and Grandma, Jim and Alice (Nash) Demos, as well as Mommy and Daddy, Tonya (Demos) and James McClymonds, and James' parents in your prayers as well. Alice called me about 10:00am, and the kids are in San Jose already. James' parents are flying in from New York, and Alice and Jim are going over this afternoon. Everyone needs LOTS OF PRAYERS to get through this, I could tell that Alice is very nervous, as I know everyone is. Jana is a first and only child of both sets of Grandparents and of Mommy and Daddy.
