Hello Everyone, Just and update, and I am sorry that I did not email yesterday, as I had told all of you surgery was originally scheduled for yesterday morning at 8:00am. They rescheduled for 1:00pm yestereday afternoon, as they found that JANA's blood had been making its own antibodies, and they needed to make sure that they could match it for transfusions, before they actually did the surgery. Then, they also found that JANA's little heart was trying to repair itself and has started growing another artery, which they had to cap off, as they had already done the first surgery. They then rescheduled the surgery for this morning at 8:00am. Grandma Alice (my sister) called me this morning at 7:05am, and said that they had just taken JANA into surgery. They were exxpecting at least 5 to 6 hours for surgery. Alice just called me at 1:20pm, and told me that JANA was out of surgery. Let me tell All of you, GOD DOES ANSWER PRAYERS, and HE DOES WORK MIRACLES!!! As per Alice, the Doctors at Lucille Parker Children's Hospital, all say that "JANA is a very remarkable baby". She came through this second surgery with flying colors. There is a Very Good Chance that she Will Not, and I repeat Will Not, have to have the third surgery, that we had all been told to expect when she reached 35 to 45 pounds in weight. They said that since she was doing so well, and had done so well during this surgery, that as of now, they would plan on seeing her for a checkup in about 5 years...................... Plans now, of course, are to get her out of the recovery room, then out of the hospital, and back home to Grandma and Grandpa's in Stockton, CA. Once she has seen all of her doctors in Sacramento for as long as is needed, and is released and able to travel, she, Mommy and Daddy, will be making their home in Austin, Texas. Such wonderful news Joyce. God works in mysterious ways and he was not ready for this Little Angel to come home yet. She has too many things that He has yet for her to do. My prayers are with all of you and praying that she will definitely not need a third surgery.
