I just finished redoing THE CAMPBELL'S ARE HERE by Mary Ellen Campbell Tesreau (private publ. 1970)55 pages. My version was a copy of a copy, so photos were real bad. I borrowed Aunt Rachel Campbell Franklin's original copy and scanned as many photos from it as I could, retyped all pages (only corrections were some spelling & grammar out of habit). The data in the book is not exacting, but is a good starting point & the photos are nice for those of us who are related to Ellis & Elizabeth Young Campbell. Ellis b 1804 in VA (per census, family) Elizabeth Young b abt 1814 in TN/AL depending on the record. They had first three children in Jackson co AL (Matthew b 1833, James Mehlander b 1835 & Ambrose/Andrew b 1836) The rest of the children were born in Missouri. There is a little on the Jasper Newton Mayberry family, Micha/Michael Spitzmiller family & some on the Suttons, but not much. If you are related to this line, and are interested, contact me.
